  • About The Author

My name is Frank am I am a finance/mathematic students working in the modelisation field (aka I win way too much for doing way too little). I am desesperately bored at my job and even most of my university classes (Collective Insurance: A socio-historical approach and Retirement Plans: Evil or Good) bore me to death. Some say I am not in the right field. I don’t know.

I am 19 years old and my ultimate dream is to become a writer. Lots of people have told me I would never make it and that I should concentrate on my “real” career instead and become another boring and bored person. This website is what allows me to remain alive.

I write mostly real-life stories (I tend to live all kind of crazy story due to my strong personality and way to word stuff), but I also write rant and speak about my theories. The latest are the most interesting because my views of the world are very different from the majority and I refuse to hide what I really am to be more socially accepted, like everyone else.

I have a strong personality and my way of thinking is rather different from the majority. For that reason, I often get in difficult and hilarious situations that I post on my website frequently. My blog is updated every monday and sometimes randomly through the week. You can’t control inspiration.

Below are some questions I frequently get. Thank you for visiting my blog and please join my RSS feed if you enjoy it. Just joining my feed already helps me get closer to my dream by a mile.

    Frequently Asked Questions:

Where do you get your inspiration for your text?

Work, work, work and more work. A good story can take me up to one month to write. Of course, I am not on it at all time, but I tend to believe stories are like wine: you have to let them mature to become great.

As for my inspiration, like any writer, I am always in “inspiration” mode. I mostly get my ideas through the boredom of my quotidian work (see: My Job Sucks Ass) and through the various situations I live. I am almost certain anyone lives at least one story per week that would make an excellent post. I encourage every person to have a blog and share his ideas. We have much to learn from each other.

To answer more in details, I’d say the way I think and act often put me in funny, comical situations. I also spend much time thinking and analysing situations. Most of my inspiration comes through real-life events. Finally, my ideas, as said earlier, help me create interesting situations. Also, I do get some ideas from other popular website, such as Maddox, TuckerMax, etc. While I never take ideas directly from any website (I’m a fierce defender of intellectual property), many writer, movies, books and more have very often inspired me.

You wish to become a writer? Your english is far from perfect…

I am 100% aware of it. I definitively need a much better english. I’d go as far as saying I need a perfect english to suceed as a writer. While I put a lot of work into my texts (sometimes too much), I can never avoid english mistakes, especially grammatical errors. If you find one, you are kindly invited to report it to me.

Why are there ads on your website?

I’m a huge fan of Google. I own 20 stocks of Google (google their price) and I strongly believe in that company. It was a dream of mine, not so far ago it seems, to work for them.

This website started with no advertising but I understood I could spend much more time doing what I like (i.e. writting) if I added these non-intrusive, relevant ads. Also, posting these ads allows me to pay for hosting and, most important, afford a small advertising (with adwords, that is) campaign. As long as they remain non-intrusive, I plan to keep them and perhaps make a few dollars per day.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any more questions.
